Candle Burning Guidance And Safety

To make the most of your new AM BOTANICAL candle, allow the wax to form a melted pool across the entire candle surface before extinguishing. We use self-trimming wicks, so you’ll notice they naturally curl and trim themselves to about 5-6 mm tall. If you notice the wick is longer than that, please trim down before the next lighting.

Burn only on a stable, heat resistant surface for a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 4 hours at a time.

When creating decorative candle displays, candles should be separated from each other by a minimum of 10 cm to prevent potential hazards. Candles that are burnt too close together will affect each candle’s burn quality and duration.

Keep out of drafts and vibrations. Never add anything to the wax or melted pool. Discontinue use when only 5 mm of wax remains on the bottom. Do not move candle while burning or if the wax is hot as glass may become hot during use. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Never leave a burning candle unattended

Candle Storage

To ensure your candles are kept in optimum condition, keep them out of direct sunlight and store them in a cool, dark place.

Recycle and Reuse

Our product as well as packaging materials are all recyclable and reusable. Should you choose to reuse the candle glass please do so with extreme care. We recommend the following instructions to clean the glass:

  • When you blow out the candle for the last time, wait for it to cool slightly so it is not too hot to pick up
  • While standing over a rubbish bin, scoop the soft wax out of the jar with a spoon
  • Use a paper towel to clean as much of the wax stuck to the glass
  • Remove the metal tabs from the bottom of the glass using a metal spoon
  • Wash the remaining wax residue with warm, soapy water

**PLEASE USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN CLEANING THE GLASS. CLEANING THE GLASS IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY AND ARE NOT LIABLE FOR GLASS THAT BREAKS DURING THIS PROCESS
